composer, songwriter, producer, performer | games, tv & film

Stephen Cullen is a music maker and adventurer residing in Toronto Ontario.
He is an award winning singer and a nominated composer/producer.
The son of an actor and a musician, Cullen grew up in a community that encouraged creativity, but didn’t start singing until the beginning of high school. His family discovered he could sing when he auditioned for a youth production of Beauty and the Beast, and came home with the title role.
Stephen spent most of his time singing in theatrical productions and choirs, touring Canada and the US.
He went on to study Music Theatre at the prestigious Sheridan College, where - with coaching from the likes of Mary-Lu Zahalan and Lorraine Lawson - he discovered performing as a pop artist. It was during this time that he also took up playing piano, drums, and bass guitar.
Since then Cullen has studied songwriting with Pat Pattison at Berklee College of Music, and spent several years as an in-house producer/composer at a prominent audio production company in Toronto.
Cullen is also a part of a few other projects: he tours with America’s Got Talent Finalist and Juno Award winner Stacey Kay, Actor and Musician Kolton Stewart (1st National Tour of the Broadway Musical ‘The Lion King’), and shares the stage with his brother Jonathan (1st National Tour of the Broadway Musical ‘Book of Mormon’) in their band Silver Lining.
